Moose-tastic Give-Away!!

Thanks to this guy.......(or gal...they don't have antlers yet this time of year...)

I have now seen 100 moose in Alaska!!!

And as promised I am doing my very own blog give away.  You probably have a very good chance of winning this one since I don't have like, a billion readers.

Here is what is up for the winner.....

A beautiful photo book of the Chugach Stage park, which is literally my backyard; a cute mug, an ULU knife, a cuddly moose, and of course, some funky moose socks.
Here is how to win and the rules.

First I am actually going to draw two winners - WHAT?? TWO you say?  Yes, 2.  The package above is for all my out of state readers.  That is the first winner.  The second winner is for my in state readers and they will just get the book about the Chugach. Sorry Alaskans, but you can pick up the rest at Freddie's on your own, the book is really cool though.

So to enter, leave me a comment telling me a favorite memory that you have of me or a favorite post you have read ion this blog (this one doesn't count).... And tell me whether or not you live in Alaska (I think I know all 6 of you who read this and where you live but, let me know at least what state your from, just in case).

I will draw a winner on Friday June 10 or thereabouts that weekend. The winners will need to contact me via email (see my profile on the side bar for the address) by June 17 or I will have to pick an alternate.

Oh, and for the record, I am up to 109 moose.  Maybe when we get to 200 I will fly one of you up here...(don't hold your breath,  but it is a nice thought...we love visitors...)

A little quote or two...

“There is in every true woman's heart, a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity.” -Washington Irving

BOOK HOUSE from the paper of my Grandfather Sidney W. Campbell

I always think the cover of a book is like a door Which opens into someone's house where I've not been
before. A pirate or a fairy queen may lift the latch for me. I always wonder when I knock, what welcome there will be. And when I find a house that's dull, I do not often stay But when I find one full of friends, I'm apt to spend the day. I never know what sort of folks will be within you see. And that's why reading always is so interesting to me. ~~Annie Fellows Johnston
