Recital 2010

Olivia's ballet recital was today. They were so cute! This marks the end of our school year obligations and all we have left is piano on Thursday mornings in June (July and August we miss our teacher with her vacations and ours not matching up), and Soccer and scouts on Tuesday evenings.

Her outfit is so cute! That was a fun song they danced to & there was lots of twirling so I bet that made Livie happy :) I take it there was no random child dancing on stage this time :)

She's so cute! I can't wait to show Marin her fancy costume. She will really appreciate it! Can't wait to see you guys soon (okay like 2 1/2 months but that's kind of soon)!

Okay I just showed Marin and these are her words, "Ohh! Livvy's costume is beautifuler than mine! She gots to come here and see mine! She gots to come to my next dance recital!" It was all said with a huge smile on her face!

Little ballerinas are so much more fun to watch than grown up ballerinas. Little ballerinas still look warm and alive. So darling!

Olivia is the most darling ballerina on stage, for sure! She is so lively and energetic, and I noticed the girls beside her look at her often to follow her lead. That was absolutely marvelous, and it made my day! Tell her Grammy is SO proud of her, and I LOVE her outfit!

A little quote or two...

BOOK HOUSE from the paper of my Grandfather Sidney W. Campbell

I always think the cover of a book is like a door Which opens into someone's house where I've not been
before. A pirate or a fairy queen may lift the latch for me. I always wonder when I knock, what welcome there will be. And when I find a house that's dull, I do not often stay But when I find one full of friends, I'm apt to spend the day. I never know what sort of folks will be within you see. And that's why reading always is so interesting to me. ~~Annie Fellows Johnston
