Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!

So the winner of the Moose-tastic Give-a-way is

NAOMI!!!

Whoo Hoo!!  I loved reading all of your comments and after each one came in I would think, Oh I hope they win.

The winner of the in-State Moose-tastic Give-a-way is

SARAH !!!!

The week has been crazy busy, but if you are a reader of this here blog, you know that there is nothing unusual in that.  This week I have had lots of opportunities to serve and give comfort to two families who lost teenage sons this week.  One was the son of Ethan's gym teacher (who is amazing) and the other the son of our friends Leesa and Scott Bridges.  My heart goes out to both families and I pray they will find peace and comfort.

We also had Ethan's last ever Cub Scout Camp this week and I got to spend a day with the Webelos up at Camp Carlquist.  Of course at the campfire Friday night, Ethan's group was the last skit to be performed so we got to stay until the bitter end.  I was a little sad to think that Ethan wouldn't be back to Cub Camp; he has loved loved loved his 3 years attending there.

JaDee and Carter are off on a bear hunt this weekend.  They are staying in a cabin of a friend and the only rough part about it is the 3 mile hike in to the cabin.  It is accessible by boat, plane, and snow machine; one of which must have brought in the flat screen mounted on the wall and the stainless steel fridge that I saw in the pictures texted to me last night (who got to carry the granite counter tops, I wonder?).

Anyway, thanks again to all of you who entered my moose give away.  Lets hope I win the lottery between now and moose 200 so I can fly you all up here for the best party ever!

Love you!

A little quote or two...

“There is in every true woman's heart, a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity.” -Washington Irving

BOOK HOUSE from the paper of my Grandfather Sidney W. Campbell

I always think the cover of a book is like a door Which opens into someone's house where I've not been
before. A pirate or a fairy queen may lift the latch for me. I always wonder when I knock, what welcome there will be. And when I find a house that's dull, I do not often stay But when I find one full of friends, I'm apt to spend the day. I never know what sort of folks will be within you see. And that's why reading always is so interesting to me. ~~Annie Fellows Johnston
