Memory Tag

So my sweet cousin Sarah has joined me in the blogging world. I am so excited to have a new blogger friend! She had this fun game on her site so I thought I would have fun with it too. I even stole her picture!

Here's how you play:

1. As a comment on our blog, leave one memory that you had with any of us: Nicole, JaDee, Carter, Ethan, or Olivia. It doesn't matter if you knew us a little or a lot -- anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about one of us, we'll assume you're playing the game and we'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, we'll leave our memory of you in our comments.

Let the memories begin!

I guess I would fit into the "I know your family a little" category. My best memory is Ethan coming to Pack Meeting in his superhero costume and cowboy boots every month. It made me giggle because I had one that loved to dress up like a superhero for a time:)

It's been almost 10 years! You have seen me go through it all. I will always remember my trip to Deleware. You guys took me around to all the sights! So much fun and a begining of new memories for me.

I remember Nicole being the "cool older cousin" at our family reunions. She taught me how to do "underdogs" on the swings. I thought that was the greatest thing since sliced bread!

A little quote or two...

“There is in every true woman's heart, a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity.” -Washington Irving

"Education enriches the mind and enlightens the
soul," --Nicole Moncur 2008

"Reading can be dangerous." --Diane Setterfield, The Thirteenth Tale

BOOK HOUSE from the paper of my Grandfather Sidney W. Campbell

I always think the cover of a book is like a door Which opens into someone's house where I've not been
before. A pirate or a fairy queen may lift the latch for me. I always wonder when I knock, what welcome there will be. And when I find a house that's dull, I do not often stay But when I find one full of friends, I'm apt to spend the day. I never know what sort of folks will be within you see. And that's why reading always is so interesting to me. ~~Annie Fellows Johnston
