"First day of school! First day of school!"

We got the kids off this morning. After a confusing bus stop search, and Ethan getting home on the wrong bus we got our math homework done and are off with friends. All in all it was a good day. Ethan is amazed that at lunch you can pick any chair in the whole cafeteria to sit in. Carter promptly stuffed his papers in his back pack and left his binder that we set up to stay organized in his locker. Should be a great year!

Olivia is going cold turkey from diapers. After being promised a Barbi movie she took herself potty on Saturday and thought that was all she needed to do to hop in the car right then and get the show. Wrong little girl...If you can take yourself potty you can be dry for a week before you get that movie! Lazy bones has peed 3 times on the floor and lost a pair of Little Mermaid panties to a poop accident.

I remember being excited when I could finally pick my own table in the cafeteria, too. It was pretty awesome!

I love hearing about Olivia's potting training adventures. I probably wouldn't think they were so funny if I was the one dealing with them, though!

Well maybe after you get Olivia Potty trained you can make your way up here and help me out! I will have 2 in diapers and 1 stuburn boy in pull ups.....Savannah never wore a pull-up, not once. Carson tells me he does not need them anymore but thats not the case. I might need to get a job or ask for diaper donations..

I love your 'adventures' Nicole. I have to chuckle - they bring back memories. Hahaha!

A little quote or two...

“There is in every true woman's heart, a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity.” -Washington Irving

BOOK HOUSE from the paper of my Grandfather Sidney W. Campbell

I always think the cover of a book is like a door Which opens into someone's house where I've not been
before. A pirate or a fairy queen may lift the latch for me. I always wonder when I knock, what welcome there will be. And when I find a house that's dull, I do not often stay But when I find one full of friends, I'm apt to spend the day. I never know what sort of folks will be within you see. And that's why reading always is so interesting to me. ~~Annie Fellows Johnston
