Kitten?

Olivia with Little Kitty

Olivia loves all animals and most especially our 2 cats. One is fat and despite her official name of Martha, we just call her Big Kitty. She is 8 years old and we got her when we moved into this house from Grandma McNiven's never ending supply of Farm cats. She is mine and a bit snobby and can be cross but is overall great with the kids. She runs from Olivia. Partly because Olivia screams at her to get her to run.

3 years later Carter wanted a kitty. Off we went to Grandma's to pick one out. (It should be noted that I only like Orange kitties and at the time both the mom and dad of the farm cats were both orange). This kitty was called Tiger and has since been referred to as Little Kitty because she is, well, little. Carter built forts and played with her for hours and as a result will tolerate ANYTHING! We thought she was deaf because even the vacuum didn't bother her. Olivia can carry her around.

So a girl I know has a litter of cats that will be ready around Olivia's birthday (Nov 13) and has 2 orange kittens in the bunch. Carter was 6 when we got Little Kitty and Olivia will only be 3. Yet I know she would love a kitty. I get my cats fixed the minute they are old enough and they spend ample time out doors killing and bringing me presents. 90% of the time they are outside. But I have kept them as kitten inside for the first winter. So that is my debate and the reason for my poll. please participate and help me decide what to do!!

Okay I know that I wrote a huge note to you on your comments, and it is not showing up! I am ticked. I also have the where is it? syndrome, but I really am sure I wrote this note on your blog. Where is it??? Sorry, there's my rant, and when I get some more time I will rewrite my comments-if I can remember any of them. :0
I hope I didn't accidentally comment to you on someone else's blog! I guess I will hear about it if I did!

Well, I dont think I will ever get a kitten for a toddler again. I swear i spend everyday saving that cats life all day long. but I guess its better than saving the new babys life! I now realize that Kyler stopped trying to hurt the baby when we got the kitten. The kitten was a good diversion. But if I didnt have a baby, I wouldnt get the kitten.

Olivia can I stroke your kitty?

A little quote or two...

“There is in every true woman's heart, a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity.” -Washington Irving

BOOK HOUSE from the paper of my Grandfather Sidney W. Campbell

I always think the cover of a book is like a door Which opens into someone's house where I've not been
before. A pirate or a fairy queen may lift the latch for me. I always wonder when I knock, what welcome there will be. And when I find a house that's dull, I do not often stay But when I find one full of friends, I'm apt to spend the day. I never know what sort of folks will be within you see. And that's why reading always is so interesting to me. ~~Annie Fellows Johnston
