And breathe...

I had a marvelous holiday and a great birthday! Yes, I am one of the cursed few with a birthday the day after Christmas. But it was awesome. I love to go shopping on my birthday and also had lunch with great friends Stefanie and Stacey. Thanks you guys!

My family was out with the husbands and kids of Stefanie and Stacey snow machining. Or snowmobiling to all of you Lower 48ers. As JaDee was leaving at he kissed me one more time, "Are you sure its OK that we go."

Do I look like a mean wife/mom if I push them out the door? Are you kidding! I practically jumped for joy when Todd asked if he could take them!

After they left I went back to bed with a bowl of s'more mix and a book for breakfast.

I did not mind at all that they were off having a great time!

Glad you had a great day. Blake wanted to make sure and tell you thanks for his present. He's not exactly sure what it is for, but it involves a knife, so he likes it :)

Absolutely! No, not mean, just sensible. The kids have to experience life without mom once in a while right?

Mitch told me it was your birthday and I was going to call you and then I forgot! I'm sorry! I hope you had a wonderful day. I'll probably get around to mailing you a present by my birthday, he he.

A little quote or two...

“There is in every true woman's heart, a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity.” -Washington Irving

BOOK HOUSE from the paper of my Grandfather Sidney W. Campbell

I always think the cover of a book is like a door Which opens into someone's house where I've not been
before. A pirate or a fairy queen may lift the latch for me. I always wonder when I knock, what welcome there will be. And when I find a house that's dull, I do not often stay But when I find one full of friends, I'm apt to spend the day. I never know what sort of folks will be within you see. And that's why reading always is so interesting to me. ~~Annie Fellows Johnston
