I didn't even know!

I have certain things that I have to buy at Target and today I had a list of 3 things to run in and get. But like every Target trip I found my basket filled with things I didn't even know I needed.

Like the foam heart stickers [it's almost Valentines, Mom], a blue plastic basket [instead of a wilted shoebox for the toys in the tub], a protective silicone skin for my new iTouch, a cassette adapter to listen to my tunes in the car, and charging capabilities for the car and home outlets for the aforementioned iTouch.

Oh and a pink limited edition Swiffer sweeper, because it will help me clean my floor better. In fact it will be FUN to clean my floor with a pink Swiffer. And since Target sells their own brand of Swiffer refills I am saving money by buying generic. So hairballs beware!

And miracle of all miracles, I even bought the 3 things on my list too!

You had me at "pink limited edition Swiffer sweeper." I need to go do my Target on!!

(PS I routinely spend at least $100 more than my list. Who knows how. Target, I wish I could quit you!!)

Blake gave me a challenge today to see if I can be more frugal than him Then he said, "and that's some big shoes to fill!":)

Good for you. I usually forget the list and only manage to remember half of what was on it.

And plastic is sooooo much better than cardboard for bath toys. Good on ya mate!

Love your Christmas pictures. I am banning myself from the store for the next while except for milk and bread and we don't even have a Target. Except for a pink Swiffer...

Shopko has a pink Kitchenaid mixer that I would love but I already have a white one and I can't justify having 2...crap!

I might have to go get me a pink swiffer :0)

A little quote or two...

BOOK HOUSE from the paper of my Grandfather Sidney W. Campbell

I always think the cover of a book is like a door Which opens into someone's house where I've not been
before. A pirate or a fairy queen may lift the latch for me. I always wonder when I knock, what welcome there will be. And when I find a house that's dull, I do not often stay But when I find one full of friends, I'm apt to spend the day. I never know what sort of folks will be within you see. And that's why reading always is so interesting to me. ~~Annie Fellows Johnston
