Casting your pearls among swine

So today I am greatful for ELECTION DAY! I have a sincere reverence for our Forefathers who set up this wonderful country of ours. I have no doubt that this constitution was divinely inspired. And you would believe it too if you took Political Science from Dr. Richard Vetterili (2 classes actually for my minor)! I always take my kids with me to vote so that they too can see what a responsibility it is to have a voice in politics.

And since this election brought out one of the more interesting races of the modern day, I am sharing a blog I found that is giving away a strand of pearls. It is Peep Toe Pumps and Pearls Check out her blog before tomorrow and you could be watching the Talking Heads on MSNBC, CNN, and Fox discect the election in a brand new strand of pearls. And if the Mighty Hunter is lucky maybe that is all I'll be wearing (a not so subtle hint as to what a strand of pearls will get you my dear

A little quote or two...

“There is in every true woman's heart, a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity.” -Washington Irving

soul," --Nicole Moncur 2008

"Reading can be dangerous." --Diane Setterfield, The Thirteenth Tale

BOOK HOUSE from the paper of my Grandfather Sidney W. Campbell

I always think the cover of a book is like a door Which opens into someone's house where I've not been
before. A pirate or a fairy queen may lift the latch for me. I always wonder when I knock, what welcome there will be. And when I find a house that's dull, I do not often stay But when I find one full of friends, I'm apt to spend the day. I never know what sort of folks will be within you see. And that's why reading always is so interesting to me. ~~Annie Fellows Johnston
