Thankful #7, 8, 9

We have been without a computer for a couple of days so I am behind on my thankful challenge. So here goes some catch-up.

#7 That my husband hired out the sheet rock of our downstairs family room instead of doing it himself

#8 My cute kids who love to play and share with each other...Olivia always gets extra treats for her brothers or sets aside some of her own for them. Ethan has been pretending to be puppies with Olivia and Carter lays down next to Olivia to put her to sleep at night. After that job is done he climbs into bed with Ethan and they giggle themselves to sleep.

#9 My gospel Doctrine calling. I love teaching the adult Sunday School! It makes me study the scriptures and think about the Savior more than I probably would have without this calling. I love the interaction our class has as we learn from each other and ask the tough questions.

We finally hired out the sheetrock here and it is wonderful to have it done within a couple of days instead of dragging it out forever.

I love those days when the kids get along.

I think anybody that teaches Gospel Doctrine AND loves it deserves a straight shot to the highest kingdom!

Wow - I'm impressed! An actual post for each day of the Giving Thanks challenge? Only a few that I've visited so far are doing it that way. Good for you - keep it up! I hope by the end of the month you'll see so many more things that you're thankful for.

Happy November!

I can totally see you as a Gospel Doctrine Teacher. I bet you do a great job!

A little quote or two...

“There is in every true woman's heart, a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity.” -Washington Irving

"Reading can be dangerous." --Diane Setterfield, The Thirteenth Tale

BOOK HOUSE from the paper of my Grandfather Sidney W. Campbell

I always think the cover of a book is like a door Which opens into someone's house where I've not been
before. A pirate or a fairy queen may lift the latch for me. I always wonder when I knock, what welcome there will be. And when I find a house that's dull, I do not often stay But when I find one full of friends, I'm apt to spend the day. I never know what sort of folks will be within you see. And that's why reading always is so interesting to me. ~~Annie Fellows Johnston
