And you can bet I'll be trying out that caramel recipe (even though I also would like to shed about 15 lbs). Also, as I was catching up on your adventures with Xena (awesome name-if I get a real one I will name it She-Ra and we can be gun weilding creators together someday), anyway, I noticed you are a cash cow fan. I must know, 1 or 2? I prefer 1 myself, and I am pretty good. I also enjoy smoothie moves and pizza palace. All in the name of being cool for the kiddos, right? From the mouths of Babes

APRIL 2011: (or thereabouts...) Olivia asks, "Why doesn't Barney blink?"

January 2011: all three children were in on the following conversation about a zombie apocalypse: Olivia, "Want to hear my plan for a zombie apocalypse?" Boys, "Sure, Livs." "I would get really really high and jump on them." {Commence giggles}. Carter says, "Hey Ethan, I would pump them full of lead." Ethan, "Are zombies allergic to lead?"

December 2010: So today we get a Christmas card from cousin featuring a vacation photo of her children swimming with dolphins. Carter looks at the card and says, "No fair! They have dolphins!"

August 2010: from Carter on like the 2nd day of school: "Mom, how old do you have to be to drop out of school?"
Me: "You don't get to drop out of school so you don't need to know the answer to that question."
Carter: "No! It's not for me. It's for all the bad kids at my school. They are interrupting my learning!"

And Carter: "Why are you being so Knick Knack?
Me: "Carter, I think you mean nit-picky."

August 2010: Olivia comments about pizza, "I will eat all the olives and you can have the skin."
Me: "The what?"
Olivia: "The skin."
Me: "What is that?"
Olivia: "You know the stuff that is white and always falls off."
I finally figured out she meant the cheese!

June 2010: Olivia, "Mom, this road is taking a long time."
Me: "Olivia, its not that long. You drive down this road all the time."
Olivia: "No I don't, Mom. I am just a little kid."

June, 2010: Ethan on his freckles, "I wish freckles could shoot darts. Like poisonous darts would be awesome!"

May 2010: While watching the Nie video with me Olivia said, "Why are they letting the balloons go? Is it the skies birthday?"

April 2010: Olivia, "Mom, what is that stripey bird over there?"
Mom, "That bird is called a Magpie."
Olivia, "What kind of pie does it like?"
Mom, "Well, probably any kind."
Olivia, "We should put some pie crumbs in our bird feeder for it."

March 2010: Ethan, "So I am like Frodo of Ben and Katie's wedding 'cause I am the ring bearer. And that means Brendan is like Samwise."

March 2010: Olivia at the Anchorage airport, "Mom! This water is good! It's not like nasty Philly water at all!" In which she promptly dumped and refilled all our water bottles while we waited for our luggage.

February 2010: Olivia, "Mom watch out for the hot Llamas!"
"The hot what?"
"They are shooting out of the bolcanoes!"

A few weeks ago Ethan tells me again about his plans for the future: "Mom, if I try college and it doesn't work out, I decided to have a back up plan."
Me: Oh really, what is it?
Ethan: I'm going to be a wrecking ball driver!

Carter in on that same conversation: "I am going to go to the Air Force Academy and be a pilot. Or a dentist."

October 2009: Ethan asked if we could play with friends after school one day. We were all in the car when I answered, "When we get your homework done, your piano practiced, the bathroom mess from this morning picked up, your bed still needs made and when we all that is done then you can play with a friend."

Olivia says, "That's a lot of whens!"

Olivia August 2009: While picking out corn on the cob at Fred Meyers, "Mom, why do they wrap the corn in that green stuff?"
"Olivia, it comes that way."
"The farmers wrap it for the store?"
"No, the corn grows the green stuff around it in the field."
"Oh! That farmer who took us for a ride on his tractor with Aunt Courtney? [referring to the hay ride we did last fall in Logan]"
"Yes Olivia, that farmer sold his wrapped up corn to the store and now we are buying it."

Ethan August 2009: "Mom is Egyptian Cotton bullet proof?"
"What?!?"
"You know how on the Incredibles, Edna says the super suits are like the finest Egyptian cotton."
We then commenced in a quick lesson on international textiles.

Olivia August 2009: At the dinner table, "Mom, thanks for this bisketti."
"Why thank you, Olivia."
"You sure know how to throw out good food."

Olivia July 2009: On the way into Khols really loud with a dirty old man about 10 feet in front of us: "Mom, my panties are stuck in my bagina! "

And later the same day into Target, "Mom that lady up there has a big bottom!" OK the lady was um, Large (capital necessary here) and of course she too was right in front of us and of course Olivia only knows how to talk loud.

Olivia July 2009: preface, I have a tattoo on my hip of a Lizard. We have had lots of talks about how mommy didn't listen to the prophet and you should never draw on yourself. Well, out of the blue Olivia tells me, "When I grow up I want to be just like my mom." (heart melts here). "But I am going to be a mommy with my own lizard on my bum and it is not going ot be blue. It is going to be pink."

Olivia: July 4 2009: At the fireworks she commented on wanting to see the "parade trucks." She meant the fire trucks and wondered why they weren't moving.

Olivia May 2009: On needing a second cup of milk right before bed, "But the milk is calling, 'Drink me Olivia! We want to be in your tummy with our friends!'"

Carter May 2009: C: Mom k~ (the girl he is "going out with) wants to kiss me on the last day of school.
M: Really. What did you say about that?
C: I told her my mom would like ground me for a million years.
M: Are you curious what it is like to kiss a girl.
C: No. Its just like kissing you.

Olivia: Dad watch out this Groovy Girl has a sword to kill the dragon!

Ethan, May 2009: After jumping on the trampoline, "My butt cheeks are on fire!"

Olivia May 2009: While we are rock-a-byeing and in a whisper and I was singing "Hush little Baby,"Mom, the baby needs a real horse and then it will be happy. But don't let the baby chew on it or it will run away."

Olivia April 2009: While we are rock-a-byeing and in a whisper, "The aliens will suck you up into their spaceship and you will have to rip their heads off!" Turns out she had watched Scooby-Doo with aliens in it.

Ethan- Feb 2009: "I want to be a paleontologist. Or a tugboat driver."
