friends.

These are some of the awesome people we saw on our trip back east. It has been 4 years since I saw Kim and Monica and 11 since we saw Tim, Autumn, Aunt Ruth and Uncle Lou. It had also been almost 2 years since I saw my dad and Grandma, who I have been told I take after a lot.

A total of 9 babies (including mine) have been born from this group of friends since we all last saw each other. And all of our kids hit it off like cousins. We have arranged marriages for Olivia, and Carter while I think Ethan may be spoken for back in Utah.

I think heaven will be seeing these people every day.

Love you all.

ps- click hereto see more amazing photos of Ben and Katie. My favorite is the black and white one where Ben is kissing Katie's forhead and she is smiling.

I think Kim looks exactly the same from when I remember her. And Ben and Katie's pics turned out a lot better than I expected :)

Friends and family are what it's all about, isn't it?

A little quote or two...

“There is in every true woman's heart, a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity.” -Washington Irving

BOOK HOUSE from the paper of my Grandfather Sidney W. Campbell

I always think the cover of a book is like a door Which opens into someone's house where I've not been
before. A pirate or a fairy queen may lift the latch for me. I always wonder when I knock, what welcome there will be. And when I find a house that's dull, I do not often stay But when I find one full of friends, I'm apt to spend the day. I never know what sort of folks will be within you see. And that's why reading always is so interesting to me. ~~Annie Fellows Johnston
