Second wind

OK I am over my feeling sorry for myself with a whole lifetime of boxes to unpack. I am ready to tackle my bedroom. I brainstormed all night one night and I think I have a good picture of what I want to look like in my head. I even know where to get the fabric for the hot (and my that i mean Glue gun hot) curtains I want to put up.

I joined the gym this week on Tuesday. Olivia and I have been Wed. Thurs. and Fri. They have a cool class called Kardio Kids 2 mornings a week for 3 and 4 year olds. She gets to run around and I hit the treadmill and weights for 45 minutes without having to pay for the day care. Which is only $2 an hour but it can add up quick if I go every day.

I am going to Stake Women's conference tomorrow with 2 other ladies. We were there today as the set up committee. I am looking forward to it as a much needed social out if nothing else. Although I am betting I may even get some spiritual nourishment if I let it.

I think my 2.3 miles of hills is helping my attitude.

Get ready for next week Xena!

Love that second wind, at least I've heard of the second wind not being a runner myself. Good for you!

BRING BACK XENA! And good for you. I really, really need to get my heinie in gear by getting back in shape. I even have a treadmill all set up in the garage that I blatantly ignore! Maybe you can lead me on the path to a cute home AND a better butt!!

A little quote or two...

“There is in every true woman's heart, a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity.” -Washington Irving

BOOK HOUSE from the paper of my Grandfather Sidney W. Campbell

I always think the cover of a book is like a door Which opens into someone's house where I've not been
before. A pirate or a fairy queen may lift the latch for me. I always wonder when I knock, what welcome there will be. And when I find a house that's dull, I do not often stay But when I find one full of friends, I'm apt to spend the day. I never know what sort of folks will be within you see. And that's why reading always is so interesting to me. ~~Annie Fellows Johnston
